Injury in Cheesman. Lost gear.

Pat Dorsey posted the following on his Facebook account about a fellow angler who fell and was injured last week in Cheesman Canyon.  Please call the shop at 719-471-2984 if you have any information about the lost gear.  Thank you.

 

From Pat Dorsey:  “I have a friend and customer who was in a serious accident in Cheesman Canyon. He slipped and fell from the rocky slopes of the Gill Trail and broke his arm and sustained a serious injury to his face. He was transported to Denver General and cannot remember the accident.

 

During the accident, he lost a 9ft/4wt orvis rod and reel, a nice pair of prescription sunglasses and an Apple iPhone 6s in a waterproof pouch! If anyone finds any of these items, please reach out to me if possible. If you could spread the news that would be great.

 

Thanks to a good samaritan, this individual is recovering after surgery and doing well considering the circumstances. Thanks for your help!”
