Why should you head on over to the annual Guide Yard Sale at Angler’s Covey on Saturday, October 28?  Well, here are three good reasons for you to ponder.

 

3.  Great bargains throughout the three shops.  Travis and Chris will be offering deals throughout Colorado Tackle Pro, such as spinning and baitcast reels at cost and 20% of rod and reel combos!  Rachel, manager and co-owner of Pikes Peak Outfitters, will have great deals on demo and rental canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards.  This gear has been well-maintained throughout the season and have plenty of life remaining!

 

2.  It’s not just rods and reels.  The Guides are offering up nets, fly boxes, waders, clothing.  Remember, for the Guides, these items were the tools of their trade.  And like craftsman, “these guys take care of their tools” as Jon Easdon, Director of Services, put it.  This is better than your neighborhood yard sale!  It’s great gear, well maintained by experts and professionals in the field, at very reasonable prices.

 

1.  That good mojo.  You don’t believe in fishing mojo?   Regardless of the name, you do believe in muscle memory, right? This gear has been productive for both guides and clients this season.  Take advantage of that good fishing juju!  These rods and reels have felt the tug, fought the fight, netted that fish of a lifetime.  You don’t forget that stuff!
