DESCRIPTION:This one-hour introduction is a great opportunity to see if fly tying is for you. You will be introduced to basic materials\, tools\, knots\, and lashings\, and will put it all together to tie your first fly! \nTying your own flies is extremely rewarding and fun! If you’re new to fly fishing\, or if you have been a fly fisher for some time but have not learned to tie\, this is the class for you! \nBe sure to also sign up for our Fly Tying 201 class that immediately follows this class! This will greatly help your fly-tying progression. \nNo experience necessary.\nThe class is $10 per person. Upon completion of the class\, each student will receive a $15 Anglers Covey gift card! Registration is required

Tying sessions last about 2 hours. These open tie nights are hosted by one of our Guides or employees. \nThis is not a class\, but an open invitation for all to come tie flies together. No equipment provided\, so you must bring your own vise\, tools\, materials\, etc. However\, all fly tying products will be available for purchase at a 10% discount during the event! \nDue to limited seating\, the spaces will be first come\, first served. \nBe sure to check out our other open fly tying nights hosted by Fishing the Good Fight each month \n
