DESCRIPTION:Often referred to as the “Secret Season”\, Fly Fishing in Colorado during the winter can truly be one of the most productive times of the year. If you are willing to brave the elements\, you will often be rewarded with whole stretches of river to yourself and large fish. However\, fly fishing in the winter can present some unique challenges. \nAnglers Covey Guides will take you through all of the tricks and tips with winter flyfishing. Gear\, entomology\, tactics\, rigging \, and locations will all be discussed at great lengths. \nThis is a 2 part class. Day 1 in the shop from 6:00-8;00 pm ( 12/19/2025\, 1/23/2026\, 2/20/2026)\, Day 2 is on the river of the instructors choice ( 12/20/2025\, 1/24/2026\, 2/21/2026) \nCost is 100.00 per student. \nStudents must have a basic understanding of fly fishing and knots. Students must provide their own transportation\, rods\, waders\, terminal tackle\, flies\, etc. \nSigning up for one date will put you in both the classroom and streamside classes

DESCRIPTION:When you have completed one of the three tracks (Orvis 101\, Discover Fly Fishing\, or Guided Instruction)\, you are well prepared for our Orvis 201 Class. \nThis is the best value and opportunity to see if your really hooked on Fly Fishing\nIf you’ve already completed A Fly Fishing 101 course\, or have some experience\, you’re ready for the next step.\nPut the content learned in the 101 to practical use on the river.\nJoin us for an outing on local trout water for a chance to catch your first fish! \nYour Orvis-endorsed Instructor will provide instruction at one of our local fisheries for your chance to put all that you have learned into practice on the water. While this is not a “guided trip\,” per se\, it is an opportunity to land your first fish while learning from the guide. \n*Class location varies from class to class. Class instructor will contact students 1-2 days prior to the class with location information. \n*CLASS TIMES 9AM AND 1 PM (May-September)   (9am only class October-April) \nClass pricing is $100 per person \nAll equipment is provided. \nFishing license required\, NOT included \nTransportation not included. \n*If these dates do not work\, we can put together a private class for you and your group.
