DESCRIPTION:  \nAfter a long hiatus\, this popular class is back and improved! \nStillwater fly fishing is something everyone should experience\, and a welcome change from out technical rivers. This 2 part class will also be conducted on private water! \nIn this class\, Angler’s Covey guide and stillwater expert Jon Easdon will walk you through everything encompassing stillwater fly fishing. From rigging\, techniques\, entomology\, tactics and approach\, he will cover it all. \nDay 1 will be held at Anglers Covey at 6pm on Thursday. The 2nd day will be held Saturday lakeside (Private Lake in South Park) \nBasic fly fishing knowledge (Rigging\, knots\, etc) is required. That said\, its okay if youre a beginner. For the on water portion of the class\, this lake is located in South Park and is about an hour and 20 minutes from Colorado Springs. This class will take place on shore\, but students do have the option of using float tubes or kayaks if they please. The cost of the class includes the private water access fee. \nStudents will be responsible for providing their own gear\, transportation\, terminal tackle and flies. Fishing licenses and gratuity are not included. \nThere is a minimum of 3 students required to conduct this class. Maximum is 6 students \nCost- $225.00 per person

SUMMARY:201 Entomology\, Fly Selection and Rigging with Juan Ramirez and Tyler Boroff- Mayflies part 2
DESCRIPTION:In this new series of classes\, students will learn the relation to the bugs and the fly patterns that imitate them. How to rig for them and also how to effectively fish them. These classes are designed to bridge the gap between fly patterns and the real thing. This class is taught by professional Fly tyers and Guides Juan Ramirez and Tyler Boroff. These two bring extensive knowledge to the table and will offer a unique view into all of the bugs that inhabit our area and much of the west. The instructors will also teach when\, why and how to fish these patterns. \nThis class series will offer 6 classes. Each class date will cover a different entomology subject. Sign up for one or all 6 classes! \nMarch 27th- Mayfly May- Spring and Summer Mayflies\n• A talk about the lifecycle of Mayflies.\n• Break down the lifecycle and showing what flies we think match the real insect.\n• On hand conversation on how to fish the different stages of the bugs lifecycle along with rigging. \nEach class is $100 per person\, or sign up for all 6 for $550.00!
