SUMMARY:301 In-Depth Nymphing classroom/streamside Class
DESCRIPTION:This class is an in-depth (pun intended) workshop on the dynamics of fishing the immature stages of aquatic insects. The focus is on nymphing and we will cover static indicator\, straight line\, and dropshot nymphing. Not only we will cover these styles of nymphing\, but there will be a heavy focus on proper line control techniques. Other subjects covered include equipment\, basic entomology\, leader systems\, reading water\, visualizing fish\, steam etiquette\, and how to properly play and release fish. This is a 2 part class that consists of a classroom and streamside session.\nSome fly fishing experience is preferred\, but we encourage beginners as well as experts to take this class.\nClassroom portion at 6:00PM at Angler’s Covey\nStreamside meets at the chosen location and begin at 8am. Location is TBD. \nThere is a maximum of 10 students in this class. Registration required.\nCost: $100\nClassroom 6:00-8:00 pm\nStreamside 8:00 am

DESCRIPTION:  \nThis one-hour introduction is a great opportunity to see if fly tying is for you. You will be introduced to basic materials\, tools\, knots\, and lashings\, and will put it all together to tie your first fly! \nTying your own flies is extremely rewarding and fun! If you’re new to fly fishing\, or if you have been a fly fisher for sometime\, but have not learned to tie\, this is the class for you! \nBe sure to also sign up for our Fly Tying 201 class that immediately follows this class! This will greatly help your fly tying progression. \nNo experience necessary.\nThe class is $10 per person. Upon completion of the class\, each student will receive a $15 Anglers Covey gift card! Registration is required

DESCRIPTION:We have a great line-up of Fly Tying 201 classes for you! Each one will teach you all of the basics\, including equipment needed and proper uses\, materials\, and techniques. You will learn all of this while tying some the more popular patterns used in our region. Each class will focus on a particular category of fly: We will be tying nymphs\, dries\, streamers\, and terrestrials. Take one class or take them all! No matter what you will gain valuable skills and start filling your fly boxes! You will come away with the skill and confidence to tie your own flies \nPrerequisite: Completion of our Fly Tying 101 class\n201 Fly tying class is $40.00 per person\nThis class is offered every other Saturday from October through April \nBe sure to check out our 301 tying classes to keep expanding your fly tying knowledge.
