Where to Go Jefferson Lake
Jefferson Lake is located south from Denver off of Highway 285. There are daily fishing passes and fees for camping. Fish species include stocked kokanee salmon, rainbow trout, brook trout, and snake river cutthroat trout. There is a boat ramp located on the south-east end of the lake. The lake itself is a "no wake" zone which means you can have a boat on the lake but you can't go fast enough to create a white water wake. Flies to use are streamers, scuds, and hares ear nymphs.
