Big Jeff started fly fishing small farm ponds on the outskirts of Chicago over fifty-five years ago and they haven’t stopped him yet. Jeff has fished throughout the US and Canada but spent the last 35 or so years primarily harassing the trout in the South Platte, Arkansas, and Rio Grande drainages. Jeff particularly enjoys the instructional side of guiding and helping newbies experience the “feel” of a well-timed cast and the jolt of energy when that first fish hits their fly. Whether in a raft or drift boat, Jeff is also certified to row anglers on the rivers of Colorado and would love to share this exciting part of the sport.
