Tenkara 101 class June 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm $40
Tenkara fly fishing can be a great stand alone concept or a great addition to your fly fishing arsenal. This Tenkara 101 class will take you through the history and all concepts of how Tenkara works. After understanding Tenkara and all components, we will run through how to set the rod up, cast a rod outside, and learn to land a “fish”.
This two hour class will give you a complete run down of how to start tenkara fishing.
What you will learn:

- History of the sport
- Disciplines of tenkara
- The rod and set up/rigging
- Casting
- Completion and handling
- What is next to come
You do not need to bring anything to the class, but if you have your own tenkara rod and line please bring for the casting portion.
