« All Events

This class is an in-depth (pun intended) workshop on the dynamics of fishing the immature stages of aquatic insects. The focus is on nymphing and we will cover static indicator, straight line, and dropshot nymphing. Not only we will cover these styles of nymphing, but there will be a heavy focus on proper line control techniques. Other subjects covered include equipment, basic entomology, leader systems, reading water, visualizing fish, steam etiquette, and how to properly play and release fish. This is a 2 part class that consists of a classroom and streamside session.
Some fly fishing experience is preferred, but we encourage beginners as well as experts to take this class.
