Small streams or backcountry fly fishing are an exciting venue to fly fish that offer solitude, great views, and different tactics and techniques.

This is an evening class that covers the basics and delivers information needed to make your backcountry adventure a successful one. Class begins at 6pm at Angler’s Covey with Q&A time with David Leinweber, owner of Angler’s Covey. The cost is $30.

Then the following Saturday will be an optional field trip to a local small stream. Details to be discussed the night of the class, but expect a one hour drive and a two hour on-stream clinic. You then will be free to fish as long as you like. The field trip is free — but you must attend the classroom segment.
