Austen Friends started his path of becoming a guide in April of 2023 and hasn't looked back. He is self-taught and began fly fishing in 2020. Austen loves being on the water with new and experienced anglers more than anything else in this world; being able to share a fly fishing experience to others is what he lives for!

Every time I'm on the water I learn something new. I love fly fishing because there is always room for improvement. I don't think any of us will know it all, but the challenge is what makes it fun! I look forward to being on the water with you!
