AboutRyan Barker

Ryan grew up in Mammoth lakes California. He spent his winters skiing and his summers fishing and hiking to high altitude lakes. In 2010 he attended a orvis guide school at the Clearwater lodge on the Pit river and started guiding that summer. Several years later in 2018 he moved to Colorado to continue his guiding career in a different part of the country. In his off time Ryan likes to chase fish in the salt or practice casting.

"Went out with Ryan Barker for a half day guided trip. Ryan was an absolute professional, he provided all the necessary gear and put me on the fish in one of the most beautiful and sought after fly fishing destinations in the country. He also provided tips and instruction to correct my beginners technique, I learned more in that morning than in the last year. Cannot recommend him or Anglers Covey enough!
