Steve Gossage is a Colorado Springs' native who has fished the South Platte and Arkansas River basins his whole life. With a guiding career that spans nearly thirty years, Steve can honestly say that these are his “home waters.” He believes that guiding is teaching – and he loves to work with clients on fine-tuning their casting, reading the water to find fish, and learning multiple ways to take fish. Steve loves the finesse of dry fly fishing and the skills behind getting a natural drift, but his other favorite aspect of fly fishing is teaching the methods behind effective streamer fishing. As an Orvis-endorsed fly fishing guide, Steve’s reviews reflect his focus on teaching.
