Hootenanny & Happy Hour

Hootenanny 9:00 AM-3:00 PM/ Happy Hour Starts at 3:10 PM
Get here early for the Hootenanny and stay all day – doors open at 9:00AM Enjoy speakers, tying demos, free lunch, brand reps, open casting, giveaways every hour – including a rod – and more! The first 100 people in line when the doors open will get a free swag bag filled with a ton of goodies!
Then walk across the street for our PPWA Happy Hour at Colorado Mountain Brewery!

Skills Refresher & Social - Knots, Rigging, Casting

This class is for those who just need a refresher of some basic skills. We'll work on knots, rigging, and casting. There will be plenty of time for questions and refreshments to enjoy. Bring your fly rods, leader & tippet. $40 Cost
Women's Fly Fishing Camp

Whether you’re just getting started or need to brush up on a few skills, our Women’s Camp is a fun, non-threatening place to do it! Students benefit from the diverse experiences and approaches of our instructors while learning about equipment, fly selection, knot tying, safety, casting, catch and release, reading the water, fish habits and much more! $395
Wild About Wyoming Trip
Thurs.- Sunday June 12-15, 2025
Join us for this destination trip to the Gray Reef (North Platte) in Alcova, Wyoming! This iconic fishery is known for big, healthy trout! The trip includes 3 nights accommodations at Sloane's General Store/Inn at Alcova, 2 guided float trips with Brian Hilbert and others for $1100 + tax per person. (Guide Tip is not included.)
South Slope of Pikes Peak

This is a favorite PPWA event where we gather at Elevenmile Canyon to fish, share meals, smo'res, and fish stories together. Come for the whole weekend or come up for the day! We have campsites reserved for RVs, trailers, and tents so register today! $35/night
Thermopolis Wyoming trip
Thurs-Sun, Aug. 7-10, 2025
Join us for this destination trip to the Bighorn River in Thermopolis, WY! This iconic fishery is known for big, healthy trout! This is the perfect time for big fish on big hoppers! This trip includes a two day float. These boats have been booked and are $725 per boat/day. (Guide tip is not included.) We currently have 6 spaces available. Payment is due at time of sign up to hold your spot as we anticipate this trip to fill up fast.
Taylor river night fishing

San Juan River Trip

The San Juan River at Navajo Dam in New Mexico is a great mini destination trip! The river boasts plentiful large fish and varied waters. You can walk and wade or hire a guide to float. Experienced anglers will do well with these smart trout. Mark your calendars now for this fabulous adventure!
Women's entomology refresher & Social

This class emphasizes the fundamentals of aquatic entomology and its direct relationship to proper fly selection. Learn how to connect the dots between local hatches, lifecycles, and choosing the most productive patterns while fly fishing. Enjoy refreshments while learning alongside other women! $40

Just below the dam on Lake Pueblo is a fabulous section of the Arkansas River! Join us for this winter favorite trip. Just be sure and dress in layers!
