How to lose a half a million dollars with one cast.

If you feel tempted to go catch and release “just one” of the 750 greenback cutthroats in Bear Creek, put that temptation in check.  Fines and penalties for catching an endangered species can total up to $500,000.  Instead of landing that unique fish, you might land yourself in prison for up to one year.  Our best advice?  Go catch that trophy brown in the Dream Stream or a brookie in Beaver Creek.  They both make for a nice picture – and, besides, you don’t look good in Department of Correction orange jumpsuits and blue slip-on sneakers.  You can read more about the research about the greenback cutthroat trout here.
