“Almost a fish with every cast”

Angler’s Covey’s Women in Fly Fishing group headed up to Chalk Creek, situated between Buena Vista and Salida, and fished this small stream.  Sharon Wright reports back that “Chalk Creek is a wonderful small stream … A drive to get there, but well worth the effort!”  They had good luck with terrestrials, including this fish that took a beetle, and the fish have been hitting small caddis, too.  Sharon and the group headed upstream from St. Elmo for no crowds and “almost a fish with every cast!”
