Dream Stream Habitat Restoration Volunteers Needed

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) has been doing a stream habitat improvement project on the Charlie Meyers SWA for about 2 years. This project is near completion and one of the final steps is to plant willows in strategic areas to stabilize the work and improve the habitat.

You will be able to see first hand the improvements made by the CPW on this project. At this event you will learn techniques for harvesting/storing and planting willows in a riparian environment. We will discuss the various ways that these willows improve the habitat both in and out of the water.

Lunch will be provided and we will need volunteers to setup a lunch table.
