Bachelor Party in the Canyon

Nine young men camped out in 11 Mile Canyon.  The occasion: a bachelor party.  They chose a guided fly fishing trip as the highlight of their gathering.

Greg Blessing, Anthony Surage, and Dave Herber guided the group in “Greg’s Office,” above The Twin Tunnels.  The fish were cooperative in the morning and everyone in the group landed trout.  For many, it was their first day with a fly rod.

At the end of the morning’s fishing, a streamside lunch of Marinated Flank Steak, fresh corn on the cob, Greg’s famous Ranch Beans and, of course, cheesecake was served.

Not a bad way to send a friend into the world of matrimonial bliss.
