Less than a week until the Colorado Springs Fly Fishing Hootenanny on Saturday, March 3rd! The first presentation of the day will be from Matt McCannel, RIGS Head Guide, Umpqua Signature Tyer, SAGE Ambassador!
Matt, head guide at RIGS Adventure CO, takes on the waters of Southern Colorado. Employing a number of strategies, McCannel is well-known for carrying a ladder along the river to get a good view of big browns holding in deep holes.
Don’t miss this presentation about the excellent fishing down in his neck of the woods, specifically the Uncompahgre River at Pa-Co-Chu-Puk. If you have not heard of this fishery in the southwest region of our state, you’re missing out on some great fishing here in Colorado!
