Scott Harkins @ the Hootenanny

I had the chance to talk with Scott Harkins who is our rep for several brands we carry, including Simms and Winston Rods. Scott has been a representative in the outdoors recreation market in the Rocky Mountain region for over 20 years. “I’ve attended the Hootenanny before it was the Hootenanny! It’s always been a good event and feels like the kick off for spring.”

For the 2020 Hootenanny, Scott says “we’ll focus primarily on Simms and Winston.” On March 7, Scott will be spotlighting the “great new Wader Technology in the Simms’ G4,”

as well as Simms’ new Dry Creek Bag lineup.”

Simms’ Dry Creek pack series comes in a variety of styles and in Cloud Camo Grey or Tan.

Over in our rods area of the shop, Scott will focus on Winston’s new Alpha Plus series, their new fast action rod.

Scott says that their line of products meet the needs of all anglers, “from beginner to expert. We represent a limited number of high-end, high-quality products and look forward to showing your customers on March 7th!”
